Right now, I need good grades in college and knowledge from many lectures that I'm interested in for my career. These are the things that directly affect me while I'm in college. And I need good motivations to study hard and do well in the college. Filling out academic chart is one helpful way to prevent and prepare to face various outcomes of academic problems. So I adapted this method for my academic fears.
These three things are the academic fears that I'm most worried about. Not understanding materials, failing exams, and failing essays are the most significant stuff that affect my grades and the class that I planned to take for half a year. Such events easily frustrates me from studying hard because it already hurts my GPA badly. However, preparing to face worst, best outcomes is a good way to prevent lowering my grades because it has the actions that I have to take when I'm in such troubles.
Secondly, I tried exploring rewards to be the stimulus to improve my motivation. These things are powerful enough to improve my motivation.
The chart is divided by three kinds of rewards. No-cost reward is getting a high GPA and satifying myself with the result. It doesn't cost any but makes me happy. For the low-cost rewards, I need my parents to support me with money so I feel like I earned some money from good work. With the money, I can do whatever I want to do to satisfy myself. For the high-cost reward, it's becoming successful in the future and make much money for myself. Since I'm a kinesthetic learner, I need some actual actions or items, to satisfy myself and learn things better.


nice blog!!! seems you also used many skills!!! i really agreed that using many skill as you can is more helpful for you to be a better student in syracuse university. i agreed that CANNOT UNDERSTANDING lecture. cuz you and i are international student in the SU. sometimes ti is really hard to understand what they are say in the class. i really thank you for sahring your story. noice blog again
